Pet Policy Overview
At Westminster Village, we value the joy and companionship pets bring to our residents. To support a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we follow these key guidelines:
- Residents and future residents must complete a Pet Application Form for approval.
- Cats and dogs are the only permitted pets.
- Up to two pets are allowed per apartment. Two dogs must be under 40 pounds each. One large dog under 80 pounds is allowed.
- Aggressive breeds are not permitted for safety. Examples include Doberman, Pitbull, Rottweiler, and German Shepherds.
- Pets must be leashed or properly restrained when outside the apartment.
- Service animals are permitted and follow all applicable ADA guidelines.
Additional pet guidelines are provided in the Resident Handbook delivered at contract acceptance.
