A successful not-for-profit Life Plan Community
Among Scottsdale’s premier Life Plan Communities, Westminster Village is one of the few non-profit senior living options in Arizona designed solely to benefit its residents. Founded in 1988 by a group of friends and neighbors who envisioned a community where they could continue their desired lifestyles and be assured of lifelong care, their mission was to maintain dignity and independence for people in their later years.
Our Commitment to Serve Our Residents
Westminster Village is a non-profit retirement community that is not owned by any individual or group. There are no shareholders making a profit at our residents’ expense, and all revenue generated goes back into community services, amenities and programs. This successful approach to senior wellness is guided by a community-based volunteer Board of Directors who ensure our residents’ needs are identified and met.
We know our residents are our most important customers, and understanding their issues and concerns is our top priority. We rely on our Residents Association for valuable input and feedback. Separately, the Residents Council consists of nine elected representatives who meet monthly to maintain cooperation and communication among the residents, management and our Board of Directors.
Our Leadership Team
We believe in the value of bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging to cultivate the health and wellbeing of our residents, staff and community we serve. We lead with heart and always put people and purpose first.
