Leadership, Service, and Impact: A Special Honor for Tom Winkelman

We’re proud to share that Westminster Village CEO Tom Winkelman was named the inaugural recipient of the 2026 Steward of Impact Award by LeadingAge Arizona. This newly created award recognizes an individual whose leadership, dedication, and advocacy have made a lasting impact on the organization and the older adults it serves.

The award was presented during the Arizona LeadingAge Awards Breakfast in May, where Tom was honored for his thoughtful leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing quality services and opportunities for older adults throughout the state.

For those who know Tom, this recognition comes as no surprise. Throughout his career, he has championed the idea that aging should be filled with purpose, connection, and opportunity. His leadership extends beyond Westminster Village, including his recent service as Board President of LeadingAge Arizona, where he helped support initiatives benefiting seniors and senior living providers statewide.
