Jingle all the way… to Health!
It can be challenging to stay healthy during the holidays with turkey, ham, pies, cookies, and more side dishes than we can count. Use these tips to stay healthy this season:
- Take a walk. Even a short walk can help maintain a healthy weight. Bonus tip: Walking outdoors provides the added benefits of Vitamin D + fresh air.
- Enjoy in moderation. It’s okay to taste more than one dessert! Try cutting your slice of pie a little thinner so you can try a delicious cookie with it.
- Drink water. Pumpkin spice lattes, eggnog, apple cider, and mulled wine make it easy to forget about the one drink our body is really asking for… H2O! Try to sneak a glass of water in between other tasty beverages so your body gets the hydration it needs.
